Your ballot, simplified.
Ballots are long. Understanding the issues takes work. Ballot Brief does some of the heavy lifting for you - distilling what each race and measure actually means, so the decision itself is more straightforward.
An informed electorate
is a healthier one.
Civic participation matters, but ballots are complicated and staying informed can feel overwhelming. Most people don’t have hours to research every race or measure. When understanding the issues requires significant time and effort, meaningful engagement becomes more difficult.
Ballot Brief exists to close that gap. We believe that when people understand what they're voting on, they vote. Our goal is a more engaged, more informed electorate, equipped with the information and context to decide for themselves.
Currently in development.
Expanding before November 2026.
Ballot Brief is in the process of rolling out coverage for the 15 largest metro areas in the US, with the goal of full national rollout in 2027. Los Angeles was the first metro region to go live with the June 2026 primary election. We're adding complete coverage for 14 more major metros before the November 2026 midterm election.
